Miami 85 overview:

At the height of the cocaine cowboy era, a group of punk kids uncover a supernatural plot for resurrecting South Beach.  Miami 85 is a mix of punk music, angst driven teens and island voodoo, all cast on a pink and teal neon backdrop.

Mari, her brother Arturo, and British exchange student Nigel are inadvertently given exceptional powers that help them battle a hoard of zombie kids who are controlled by the shadowy Zombie King.  The reluctant heroes face not only a supernatural menace, but also the trials of being punk teens in the 80s.

Miami 85 is a music driven horror based comedic series that lands somewhere between Miami Vice and Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a punk attitude.
